Upcoming Activities and Events
Neighborhood Walkabout – September 27, 2026
Attention ward members, neighbors, and friends! There will be a walkabout on Sunday, September 27, 2026 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to enjoy meeting new people, having a snack (or three!) and getting some fresh autumn air!
Treats will be provided by the following families:

Lignell – 9271 S. 1480 East
Roberts – 9119 Stillwater Circle
We hope to see everyone out and about on a nice walk! Don’t forget to invite your neighbors! A map is also provided through the link below with the locations of the snack stops. See you then!

Tithing Declaration
From the Bishop:
Dear Coppercreek Ward Members,
As the end of the year approaches, we invite each individual and family in the Coppercreek Ward to participate in annual Tithing Declaration. This is a dedicated time to meet briefly with the Bishop and declare your tithing status.
What is Tithing Declaration?
Tithing declaration (formerly tithing settlement) is an opportunity to review your year-to-date donation summary for accuracy, ensure your church records are correct, and formally declare your tithing status as a full, part, or non-tithepayer. More than an administrative review, it is a sacred moment to reflect on covenant faithfulness, spiritual growth, and the Lord’s temporal and spiritual providence over the past year.

Saturday Evening Sessions have been discontinued. There are no further meetings on Saturday or Sunday, other than the sessions noted above.

Our church leadership strongly encourages us to study and ponder the upcoming lessons and come to class prepared to participate in the discussions. As a helpful supplement, this section of the ward newsletter will be devoted to the lessons coming up in the week following the current week.
