Sunshine, Sisters, Salad!
August Relief Society Activity
This month’s activity invites Relief Society sisters, neighbors, and friends to bring salads and sweets for a mingle at the Summer Meadows pavilion, sponsored by the Stake Relief Society organization.
Date: Thursday, August 20, 2026
Time: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Location: Summer Meadows Chapel Pavilion at 1850 East 8600 South
Please bring a dish or dessert to share! For complete details, see the attached flyer or contact a member of the Relief Society Presidency.
Stake Conference
With the reorganization of the stake, the calendar for Stake Conferences has also been updated. Our first Stake Conference since the changes were made will be this month, August 22-23, 2026. More details will be added here as we receive them.
The main sessions are as follows:
Evening Adult Session
Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Alta Vista Stake Center
Members aged 18+ are invited to attend
Sunday Morning General Session
Sunday, August 23, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon

Neighborhood Block Party!
The annual Neighborhood Street Party will invade Stanley Drive to celebrate the summer!
Date: Saturday, August 29, 2026
Time: 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Location: Stanley Drive (9305 South) between Sterling Drive and 1480 East (you can’t miss it)
As always, everyone is invited. There will be inflatables, free food, and live music featuring our local, world’s best cover band, Good Question. There is no charge to enjoy the party, but donations will be accepted. There will also be a sign-up sheet for volunteers to help with the party for short shifts and those who are inclined to bring a dessert or side dish are also very welcome to do so!
